Raquel Boujourne is the CEO and co-founder of Indi Construction Partners, LLC, one of the largest Latina General Contractors in the United States. She began her construction journey in 2009 and has built a team that continues to strive for excellence. She has participated in over $500M worth of projects and oversees a national team that strives to continue its growth while inspiring other women to participate in construction and development.
She is also the CEO of DGR Commerce Solutions, which was founded in Houston, Texas in 2021 to provide clients access to wholesale consumer packaged goods in the beauty, health, and construction industries and to provide e-commerce as a service. Through the use of the agile methodology, DGR’s systems evolved to meet the demand of our clients. In this process and through years of data and discovery, we developed DRS. No, not doctors, but Disposition Recovery Service! Our systems and workflows have seen a reduction in disposition (lost inventory) by roughly 13-14% per order cycle.
Boujourne is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association, Latin Women’s Initiative, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, Lulac 60 Council, Leadership Houston Alumni, Strategic Decision Making Committee at Yolanda Black Navarro Middle School, East End Chamber of Commerce, and former Vice Chair for the National Association of Minority Contractors.
Raquel Boujourne also founded The Boujourne Foundation in 2022, which guides and encourages young at-risk youth via mentorship programs and various social events that promote positive leadership and thinking. The Boujourne Foundation also supports other various causes such as affordable housing solutions where Boujourne is focused on finding economic solutions to the national housing crises.
She is constantly looking for ways for her team to grow in their craft and even encourages continuing education to better themselves and their personal growth.
